Jean Burkett - Ministerial Assistant
Jean serves as our ministerial assistant. She oversees our benevolent fund and all activities of the main church office and works closely with our pastors and staff to support them in ministry. If you need to schedule a meeting with anyone on our staff just call Jean and she will set that up for you. Jean can also help you schedule events and keep you up to date on church activities. Jean has been a member of Fletcher Memorial since 1986 and has worked as our ministerial assistant since 2010. She is married to Bill and has 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Tonya Halsey - Music Director
Tonya has worked as our music director since 2012. She directs the adult choir and is responsible for the music during our Worship Service including choir specials, special music and congregational singing. She is also in charge of our youth choir and planning Youth Sundays. Tonya started an adult drama team and a youth drama team at Fletcher. Our youth drama team performs skits for Youth Sundays and plays for Christmas. The adult drama team performs at Christmas and Easter. Tonya has over three decades experience working as a music director. She leads blended worship on Sunday morning, with Praise and Worship, Contemporary Christian, and traditional hymns. Offering a musical style so that everyone can worship during the service. Tonya is married to Doug, and they enjoy working and serving at Fletcher Memorial.
Elaine Cox - Music Director & Pianist
Elaine is our music director for special events. She oversees cantatas for our adult choir. Elaine has expanded our cantatas to include performances for Christmas, Easter, Independence Day and Thanksgiving. Elaine is also our pianist and is responsible for playing our hymns, offertory music and invitation music during our Worship Services. She and Tonya work closely together with our adult choir to provide music that shares God’s message and is worshipful. Elaine is married to Derwin and has been serving at Fletcher since 2012.
